Skattebo and the Sun Devils

You’ll recall last year, I pointed attention to Cameron Scattebo who transferred from Sacramento State to ASU. Scattobo runs with Czonka-like ferocity. Against Mississippi State, he ran for 265 yards, breaking one tackle after another, moving the entire mound of tacklers on some plays. He’s the most physical RB to arrive on the scene in a long time. Addtionally, he has terrific hands, blocks like madman, and talks up a storm during the game. If you missed the game, you’ll definitely see some highlights on this guy.

With Scattebo, ASU has a formidable team, perhaps one that will compete and make the playoffs.

Watch Skattebo run. The guy is the most physical RB in the game bar none.

ASU is a good team with a good offense and a stiff defense, especially against the run

He is fun to watch.

Skattebo destroys Utah. Toughest kid in college football. Refuses to go down, breaks more tackles than anyone. Has exceptional hands. Blocks like a fiend. Plays fiercely.

When the game ended last night, the crowd screamed Scattebo over and over again.

Watch Skattebo.

Kid is real impressive. Can see why he’s a fan favorite.

Bad dude

And not too many run through Utah like that…In any year.

Scattebo is my favorite player this year. Guess who also likes him.

After Ashton Jeanty, Scattebo has the most All Purpose yards of any NCAA player. Nobody tougher than Scattebo.

Scattebo was the chief reason Arizona State greatly outperformed pre-season prediction. Here is how pundits thought Arizona State would do this year.

In Tempe, they are crazy about Scattebo. Mexican burrito restaurants are now selling Boo-ritos.

Kid was amazing vs. Iowa State

@bikki228 Bikki with the cold-blooded long shot call. Could have gotten a huge price on that pre-season/early Sept. Love it.

Amazing!

I first spotted this kid when he played at Sac State. I could hardly believe the way he ran roughshod over defenders. I am a believer that championship teams must have an effective rushing attack which translates to a more successful total offense.

Though Arizona State gives up a lot of yardage in games, they have the capacity, similar to Miami’s, to outscore their opponents, putting up prodigious numbers of points on the scoreboard. I hope their stellar WR Joyner is physically able play during the playoff games.

It never occurred to me to place a bet on Arizona State.

As for the playoffs, I think Boise State will be a problem for any of the teams.

Maybe, maybe not

But there is no way in hell Boise State is a 3 seed and deserves a bye. This system is awful.
