Shedeur Not Picked

The reason Shadeur has not been picked is definitely not racism. A more credible explanation would be teams being turned off by Deion and Shadeur’s attitude that they rather than team officials would choose where Shadeur would play… It rather reminds me of how Trump critics respond to Trump’s brashness. IMO, teams are behaving stupidly; Shadeur is a first round talent, and Deion is a great football personality whose presence makes the game more interesting.

Mel Kiper thought Shadeur was the best player in the draft, so he has been miffed, and I supposed has lost face by Shadeur being rejected. I had Ward far and away ranked the best QB, and I ranked two others ahead of Shadeur–Dart and Kyle McCord, with McCord, I predict, being the steal of this year’s draft.

Was told that Brady asked the Raiders not to draft him as well. I think it’s because they don’t want to deal with his dad.

Racism like this should never be tolerated!!!

Who said anything about racism?

Oh it’s all over social media, as it usually is…Race baiters gonna race bait.

Didn’t someone on the board also blame racism (for this and everything else.)

First Round Quarterbacks who Shadeur was better than…

  1. Anthony Richardson
  2. Kenny Pickett
  3. Trey Lance
  4. Mac Jones
  5. Jordan Love
  6. Dwayne Haskins
  7. Daniel Jones
  8. Josh Rosen
  9. Mitchell Trubisky
  10. Blake Borttle
  11. EJ Manuel
  12. Brandon Weeden
  13. Christian Ponder
  14. Jake Locker

The bigger issue this year was only three teams had major needs for a QB - Titans, Giants and Steelers. Titans took Cam, Giants passed for Dart and the Steelers are hoping Aaron Rodgers is there.

The bigger problem is with those who have an issue with Shedeur. My questions - Did he ever get arrested (No) Baker Mayfield/Manzeil, Jameis, did he ever punch a girl (no), did he ever have problems getting into trouble (NO).

He was a 3 star qb from Texas. He was the 37th rated quarterback overall in his class. He was rated the 75th rated player overall in his class. Sanders basically had ZERO interest from schools in P5. He also did not get offered by FSU. So here is an average qb in high school. One who has zero interest or selling power. So what does he do…Goes to Jacksonville State and lead on their best records in school history and leaves for Colorado. A school that was 0-11 or 0-12 before he got there and led them to a bowl game two years later and one of their best seasons in a decade. Colorado had ZERO NIL money to give to Sanders son. So what did the kid do…So what did he do…HE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF NIL. He created interest in him on social media. Should he be punished for this.

What is amazing is people bring up his chains…Ok, Kirk Cousins comes out to a press conference with a ton of chains…Not a word. People laughed at Cousins.

Well lets get into him being cocky and arrogant. Oh waited out country voted for a man who was a convicted felon and oh by the way said he grabs women by the pussy.

We have people on both sides from a media standpoint that say outlandish things.

We have a former great athlete who decided after 50 years of his life change into a women to hand out awards at a ESPY event.

Our country made a family popular because they did sex tapes…

So now we are going to have fake outrage for a kid…Yes a kid who took advantage of a system in place to make money for his personality and punish him for doing so? OK…Makes sense.

One wonders why so many teams concluded that Sanders was a pain-in-the-ass, egotistical troublemaking circus act who isn’t worth the trouble and passed on him. Racism is the only explanation.

The fact that over 50% of NFL players are black is merely a smokescreen to disguise the blatant racism that exists within the league. Cam Ward’s selection as the number one pick was clearly part of this diabolical plot.

Elite80 knocked it out of the park with his post in this thread. It will be interesting to see how Shadeur does competing with others at Cleveland. I think he has a good chance to emerge as the team’s best choice at QB.
