We have successfully frozen their brand—“critical race theory”—into the public conversation and are steadily driving up negative perceptions. We will eventually turn it toxic, as we put all of the various cultural insanities under that brand category.
The goal is to have the public read something crazy in the newspaper and immediately think “critical race theory.” We have decodified the term and will recodify it to annex the entire range of cultural constructions that are unpopular with Americans.
Absolutely brilliant read. The ontology of fake conservative hysteria regarding CRT. I had forgotten about corporate push towards DEI that enraged like 1200 people
CRT is tantamount to racial hatred and has no business being taught to students by leftist anarchists who foster racial division not unity and racial harmony. White privilege is a monstrous stereotypical lie. Unity is what promotes love and understanding among humans. That’s one of the reasons athletic teams build friendships across racial lines that are pure and enduring. Sowing discord through CRT is horribly divisive and should be rejected by humans of good will.
This is a surprisingly well-written and insightful article. I wonder what this site is.
This panic, as I’ve previously written, has nothing to do with the actual arguments of critical race theory scholars. But that raises the question of what it really is about. The answer is the George Floyd protests of last summer and the ongoing surge of anti-racist activism.
I think honest conservatives would admit, as bikki does, that the GF.antifa protests were their public enemy #1.
Rufo straight-up admits that it was corporate and educational anti-racist trainings that motivated his crusade, not critical race theory itself; that the primary reason he selected it as a target was its ominous sounding name; and that he neither knows nor cares about the actual substance of CRT.
Which tracks with what everybody who complains about CRT does. They’ll mention some wacky training some company does and blame the nebulous “CRT.”
But the moral panic probably wouldn’t have caught fire to quite the same degree if it wasn’t hooking into some real problems or conflicts. On one level, it must be admitted that some of the anti-racist politics from writers like DiAngelo have played into Rufo’s hands. The corporate diversity seminar where some well-paid consultant lectures white employees to do self-criticism (while carefully avoiding ideas that might harm the corporate bottom line, like improving the welfare state or unionizing the company) is at best not very helpful, and at worst will actually make people more prejudiced.
I love this admission, because the truth is there IS some crazy stuff out there. But the conservatives conflate it with everything, wrap it up in the CRT label. They are excellent at branding. They do the same thing with the “antifa” label, as it designates a clear threat/enemy.
What I find most demonstrative are skeeter and bikki immediately chiming in to attack the “evil CRT” when we know for a fact the former couldn’t explain what it is and the latter would simply parrot talking points for another cracker.
CRT is nothing but anti-white racism. It is a polemic issue in law schools and extrapolated by idiots DiAngelo and Kendi as reason enough to insult white people stereotypically. Humans at large would better universally be instructed by the Golden Rule
Ah, another lie. You, personally acknowledged the racism involved in Jackson, MS, thus confirming institutional racism exists. You, personally, acknowledged this. The study of said racism is CRT.
You simply can’t help your racist self from lying on a daily basis…
Your golden rule is to pathologically lie, defend mass murderers, and praise men who force little girls to get dressed in front of them. It takes a dedicated and deliberate line of thinking throughout one’s life in order to get as low as you are, from an integrity, honesty, and character standpoint.
No…It’s just that anyone with a brain knows CRT is ass backwards and we refuse to participate in theater of the absurd.
That is a good quality, not a bad one.

I’ve been anti-CRT since day one, and was the first person to post about it on this board, I believe. I read about it early very early on. I’ve never parroted anything in my lfe. Not my style to dick ride. You, on the other hand, can’t say so much.
I have never “conflated” anything with CRT…So just stop lying. I’m all for certain improvements and experiments in reform in many aspects or American life. When I say “evil CRT” as you so foolishly try to generalize…I am speaking specifically of CRT. Get it, ya dumb fuck?
But CRT is unnecessary to begin with, simply fosters more racism, and this among many others half-retarded, miss forrest thru trees, etc. etc…progressive ideas is something I will always mock, attack, and never be on board with . You gotta be a fucking idiot to back this shit. Wake up…It’s trash
