Ron Johnson opposes lower drug costs because it's 'punishing the pharmaceutical industry'

Poor pharma companies. It’d be a shame if they couldn’t purchase the rights to a drug that costs $30 a bottle and for no reason raise the price by 900%.

Remember when they were bitching about vaccines and how the pharmaceutical companies were all about profit and they couldn’t’ be trusted? Then, they back the pharma companies, stop a cap on insulin, etc. Kind of like blocking any election security bills while screaming about election security, griping about manufacturing and not being reliant on China and then blocking semiconductor investment, baby formula…the list goes on and on
