We respect police while also understanding they are human and fallible.
No one “loves them.”
One of my favorite past times is watching auditors clown badly trained police officers.
Like every job on earth, there are good people and bad people. Policing is no different.
But keep generalizing.

I support the police but not the Capitol Police. The cop who shot Ashli should stand trial for manslaughter. The Capitol Police failed and need to be reorganized. As for Jan 6, it should be a forgotten day in history, a minor political protest with one unfortunate case of negligent homicide.
BTW, Joe Scarborough is a Pensacolian whom no one will claim hereabouts. At one time, he was a rising star among Republicans. Never too good of a lawyer, shafted his former wife, and a turncoat conservative, he sometimes is regarded locally as an intellectual lightweight, but most of the time just as a douche bag.
