Republicans and their Russian Masters

What was Cawthrone’s premise for calling out Zelensky? Did he present any reasons?

Putin is wrong for invading a sovereign nation, but can’t Zelensky also be evil? I don’t lnow what Cawthorne is claiming in calling Zelensky evil. But, couldnt both leaders be bad guys?

Eh, I don’t believe Cawthorn gets that’s far. There’s not much to him, but if you look, he’s a fraud from start to finish. Reminds me of that Will Farrell movie The Campaign. Same situation, same state, etc.

Also, Zelensky just got there. He was an actor who played a President on tv and then got elected. I’m not sure how someone could call the guy bad or evil. I’m not an expert on him, but considering the context (being in Ukraine), seems like a pretty stand up fella. I’ll tell ya…our President was 58 stories under the WH in a bunker when some black people started yelling at him and had protest signs outside. He literally ran away from the G7 when the other countries made a joke about him and hurt his feelings. Zelensky is in the capitol, refusing to leave and fighting a war against Russia. Dude’s got my vote

I can’t find the whole speech where Cawthorne calls Zelensky evil. Without context it’d be wrong to just jump to conclusions. I know little about Cawrhrone (wheelchair dude, right?).

Regarding Zelensky, i know nothing about him too. But im just stating that he could be evil for all we know…i don’t know.

Ultimately, the situation in Ukraine could very much be between two evil actors not necessarily as clear cut as good and evil. Not everything is binary these days

Zelensky rose to popularity on an anti-corruption campaign, both within his comedy TV show and then in real life. He does have a lot of money in real life, though, which is itself not a crime. A lot of rich Ukrainians, including him, keep a lot of money offshore because Ukraine’s system is not very stable (I believe the current crisis lends credence to this point).

Some have claimed improprieties in his case, but I don’t think anyone has provided proof. He was listed in the Paradise Papers, I think. It is known that he had money from his TV businesses before ever getting involved in government, though.

Cawthorn is a peach. He lost his legs in a spring break drunk binger down in FLA, where the driver fell asleep and wrecked. Cawthorn claimed the guy abandoned him and “left him to die in a fiery crash”, but that was all a lie. Brad Ledford (the guy) was introduced on election night by Cawthorn as the “guy who saved his life.” Ledford’s dad owned an insurance company and when it happened, Cawthorn lied and tried to sue with this story. The story was contradicted by Ledford’s own accounts, Cawthorn’s family, and the police report.
There’s so much though, from his fake business his dad setup so he looked like he had a job before running for Congress (fake real estate), to his lying about being accepted into the Naval Academy, to his lying about training for the Paralympic Games, to several women talking about sexual assault in college, to the dorm RAs warning freshman girls about him and to NOT get into the car with him since he takes you in the middle of nowhere and tries to force them into blowjobs and what not at Patrick Henry College…long list man. He’s handpicked by Mark Meadows. It’s the movie The Campaign essentially, I think

Absolutely

However, I know who I’m cheering for.

That this piece of shit, legless swine is yapping to cheer on Putin is about par for course. Then here you come playing dumb. Like both these things could be true so therefore the Russian invasion is somehow OK. Meanwhile Putin is bombing, indiscriminately.

It’s amazing how strong the media control is on people’s minds.

What’s amazing is that you truly believe this.

So many assumptions on your end.

I’m not cheering for either side; this isn’t a football game.

51 NORTHAM YOU FEEL IT SLIPPING AWAY?

THE TREASON TRIALS ARE COMING, THE RETURN OF STORM FRONT AND SO IS THE END OF SOON TO BE FORMER MODERATOR 51 NORTHAM……

There are no assumptions on my end. I stand with democracy.

Your ilk does not.

Traitors, the entire lot of you.

Go ahead and tell us what you think is going on, Qanon. I want you to write it…have the guts to say what you think. I know what it is and why you don’t want to put it down into words…go ahead. You’ve got much more crazy theories than this one you’ve shared

More assumptions on your end.

Such as?

Dj’s assumptions:

  • I side with Russia and Putin because I posed the question that both parties in the current conflict could be evil (similar if i were to assume DJ is a Nazi supporter because he supports Ukraine and the Azov Neo-Nazi paramilitary group…ridiculous, right?)

  • I am a republican because i don’t fall lockstep with DJ’s ideology

  • I’m somehow a supporter of Cawthorne because i asked for context for his statements.

  • I’m somehow a traitor to our countey because…i don’t know DJ throws hissy-fits and says words without explanation

Is that a good start Warden?

You and I (as well as 305) engaged in a civil discourse focused on learning. Not sure why there was a need for anyone to derail said conversation.

Yes sir.

I believe that this is not a land grab or annexation like the media is having us believe.

I am also humble enough to say I don’t know exactly what it is instead of just screaming “traitor!!!” At everyone that has an opinion or doubt. The 2 of you look like morons.

You’re leaving out the part where you’ve called Ukraine not a country, praised Putin, praised Russia as not as corrupt at Ukraine, etc. Don’t give me the “oh, I’m just on the sidelines watching, not making judgements.” You parroted Russian talking points, which were the same justifications used by Germany about Poland pre-WWII. Ain’t that right, Cliffy?

Ukraine really isn’t a country by any real definition. It’s been disputed for over 1,000 years between multiple great powers. It’s population is heterogenous. It shares its language with Russia.

And here’s the best part…. Ukraine literally translates to “borderland”

You’re allowed to have your opinion. That’s cool. But so am I. That doesn’t make me a fascist or a Putin sympathizer. It simply makes me a critical thinker.
