I went to do a grocery pickup yesterday…5 black people loading the groceries and about 10-12 cars waiting, checked in. Every single person except 2 were loaded and gone in 15 minutes. Myself and another were still waiting with similar characteristics. I watched 6 cars come in after and get loaded. After an hour and 15 minutes I went inside and cancelled the order, etc. The other person was still waiting.
What made us different than everyone else who got loaded? Complexion.

Then, wouldn’t the entire airline and energy industry be considered reliant upon government? We bail them out directly or indirectly every few years, the banking industry too. In practice, though, I have a protest where a small but sizable portion go burn down and loot a Target and then some big bitch on Tik Tok explaining how they don’t need anyone but black people, and they’ll take this or that, what they’re owed from society and we better be glad they’re not into actually recouping all the strife and whatever. I get videos of how they don’t need white women at the protests and how they’re the problem. I get videos or stories of how they threw off the chains of slavery by themselves and took their voting rights by will and didn’t need anyone’s help and whatever.
In reality, if white people didn’t help, they’d still be in on auction blocks and Larry Bird and John Stockton would be the greatest to ever play. So, I get the frustration on each side.
I also turn on the tv or read the news and see 4 black teens beat this old person or that old lady, daily. I’m ranting. Sorry. I assure you, if you’ve noticed, I have a much more nuanced view of things than expected in most cases. It’s just that we never dig deep enough on here to talk about much of these things. Huge push for it…Not just what I see day to day. But I really believe that some very powerful people are pushing for this. Fair points on the corporate stuff…I am not educated enough in government policy towards them or the play-by-play of it, but on the surface based on what I do know we are in agreement with some of those stances.
