I’m amazed at comments that anyone would “want” us to play Notre Dame. Really?

They have, you know, REAL offensive linemen. They get developed and drafted into the NFL - many in high rounds. We don’t do that - AT ALL. So you really want to go out there and “try them on” after they beat the team that smoked up 42-17? Really looking forward to doing that? I think we live in the past too much.

Not living in the past. If we win the games wer’re supposed to win…UNC. The game would have no downside at all. We play Alabama to start 2021. We need to play better teams than the common ACC opponent.

I’m with you. I know people want the ‘any team, any time’ mentality and I do too, but I don’t think we are there yet. I think the best thing that can happen to us is we finish the year with one loss so we can keep this recruiting class and hopefully add a few more high ranked targets. That will be challenging enough, with ND on the schedule it is almost certainly not going to happen.
