It was always a delusion. Trump talked about going after Hillary and quickly stopped mentioning her as soon as she was elected.
The fact is, politicians/presidents aren’t going after each other. Not only is it a bad look for the country, but if you go after a past president, who’s to say a future president won’t go after you.
For the same reason I always said Trump would never see the inside of a jail cell.
