2023 Season Won Loss Record Predictions

I expect the team to be somewhat improved over 2022’s 5-7 team. However, the team has a long way to go (two or three classes?) to being anything near elite in terms of talent. I believe Vegas sees Miami as about a 7 win team. I think that is about right assuming TVD stays healthy. I would think 8 wins is the ceiling, 6 the floor. Maybe if Miami gets lucky they could win 9 games. Miami could easily go 6-6 or 8-4 but 7-5 seems about right. I don’t really want to contemplate worse than 6-6 but …

Most of us and Vegas got it right, 7-5.

Several 8-4’s, a few 6-6’s, a 5-7 and one said less than 5 wins (battered fan syndrome?).

I guess you guys know your team.

Didn’t see L-ville being a Top 10 team, didn’t see Miami losing to GT (shouldn’t have) or beating both Clemson and TAM. UNC (away?) loss not a surprise really, NC State away, I figured was a toss up game. Didn’t see TVD sort of imploding, but he’s been injured so some of his problems might be that etc.

Really, even at 7-5 the team seemed noticeably better. Never got blown out, was in most games until the bitter end.

Can’t stress this enough. We hung around and were even in a position to win against top-10 teams.

I’m not a homer who’s screaming about us being back, but it’s nice to see us mostly as a real football team again.
