This is good news. He played well in the bowl game. Nice to have a capable backup.
I doubt King will be 100% in September so I was surprised Perry wanted to transfer. He is the presumptive starter for the first few games.
You may be right Stork. They’re saying he’ll be ready - but who knows.
Lashlee wanted him to stay. I’m glad he is. He balled out. If you ask me, that was some of the best play calling Lashlee did while Perry was in.
he played well in that bowl game…a full offseason with Lashlee can’t hurt and it would be nice to have someone experienced against alabama rather than a frosh.
sigh…word now is he will graduate in spring and then look for a school where he can start on day 1
Makes total sense. Hope he does.
I thought everyone was given a transfer waiver this year because of Covid.
Hes stating to graduate, then Grad Transfer somewhere else to play next season.
F U, Dad!!!
If Perry plays Spring Ball, I think he might decide to stay. He would be in line to start early in the season if King isn’t ready yet. It takes awhile to get over a blown ACL.
He is, at best, a good backup IMHO. He might start at FIU or FAU, I don’t see him as a starter for a major.
Lets hope Garcia is the goods and makes this all moot.
Or TVD. The kid has an absolute cannon of an arm.
I could see Perry go through spring. If he doesn’t like the outcome he will likely graduate and leave with our without the ncaa rule change.
