He’s such a disappointment. Never passes up an opportunity to divide. His presidency is the start of the huge divide in our country.
Here he’s talking about George Floyd in regard to the Texas shooting.
I don’t understand the fake conservative outrage at the comment, but I also don’t quite understand the reason or meaning of Obama’s comment.
Is he being critical of police? Saying the police failed us with Floyd, and now 2 years later they are still failing us?
There is a point there, I guess I’d agree, but still a strange link.
I think the point is that Obama would like to memorialize Floyd but it just so happens that the school shooting takes precedence. He can’t help himself.
Obama wouldn’t be out of line here if he simply mentioned Floyd alone - but to lump that in with Uvalde makes no sense. The two just aren’t the same.
