James Edwin Otto (January 5, 1938 β May 19, 2024) was an American professional football player who was a center for 15 seasons with the Oakland Raiders of the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes.
Otto was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980, his first year of eligibility. He was also named to the AFL All-Time Team and NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team.

Was THE pro bowl center for the AFL. I mean, THE best one for the decade the league existed. Did it five additional years after the '70 merger. Look at that sheet! It donβt get no better than this. R.I.P, 00
