Maybe this will give Charlie Baker and the rest of the NCAA apologists some much needed heart-burn.
Hopefully if the equity firm/s is/are smart they’ll suggest opting out of the NCAA altogether and forming a competing structure.

Mind you…good things rarely happen when private equity firms get involved. They are at best vultures and at worst predatory. Still their attempt to venture into college-football signals what we’ve long known…there is/was/always will be …a lot of money to be had but it was never reaching those who deserved it most.
