Against severe outcomes, the lowest they found was 42% reduction.

The numbers are down from last year when they were no vaccinations. Even skeeter talks about how this virus works in waves, meaning numbers go up and then go down and then go up. Past that we have confirmed declining effectiveness of certain vaccines, so yes, numbers can go up. But, say it with me everyone now, CORRELATION DOES NOT EQUAL CAUSATION.
