As the Left pushed for more EV cars including Tesla until Musk became a Free Speech absolutist, the Right responded to the EV push by arguing EVs could be hacked and that EVs especially self-driving ones violated the citizen’s sovereignty.
This movie comes out and the narrative has switched. EVs - as long as they are Musk’s - are good, and the notion of a cyber attack that would leave EVs disabled is now a conspiracy where a shadow government is providing hints at what is to come.
