Indiana stopped blitzing, thinking they could handle us with a zone. Beck did a great job on that last drive.
A shame we were so inept the first half.

Becker was not stopped by anyone this year. OāConner just couldnāt match up physically with him. He is to Indiana what Jeremiah is to Ohio State.
We cannot let them pin us too deep.

Carson Beck forces a pass that gets picked to lose the game.
No one could have predicted this.
Most of the blame lies with Dawson but a lot of stupid mistakes and missed tackles.
I donāt understand how the bad tackling and the stupid penalties never got fixed.
Special thanks to Rhett Lashlee and Manny Diaz. They could have got Fernandno Mendoza with a preferred walk on offer. Idiots.
Too bad, but we were in it right to the end. The friggin blocked kick killed us along with feckless play on offense in the first half.
This has been a great season, and Iāve enjoyed watching games with you guys. Youāre a great group of football fans. Indiana was the best team we played this year. They made precious few mistakes and were obviously well coached. They deserve their Cinderella season. And we had the year of Bain and Mesidor which reminded me of the year Alabama beat us by dint of having two fearsome defensive ends Curry and Copeland who were dominant just like ours. We had a wonderful defense this year.

Great season. Obviously I wanted the win but I think Mario silenced a lot of doubters with that run. We should be proud of this team.

The missed tackles did not lose the game. Missed fg which miami should have gone for it. The blocked punt. Thats ten pointsā¦miami wins if those two things donāt happen.

If that underthrown pass was to the far side, we win the game. All I could have asked.
Gutsy call by Cignetti going for it on 4th and 5. Every point counted. The 3 points we missed. The punt block was devastating.
Miami could have won if we played a clean game. We covered. It was a fun watch and a fun ride.

Cignetti is an elite coach. Miami did not need to go for it all at the end. 51 secondsā¦.you have at least 4-5 plays to win the game.

Our defense got stronger as the game proceeded. The Hoosiers felt a lot of pain handed out by those guys on defense. It was a real old time slugfest. Great season.
Weāre lucky to have Mario. Heās a native son who loves the University of Miami. Heās a great organizer and a superb recruiter. What parent would not believe Mario wouldnāt take care of their son. We came within a few plays of winning. Letās do it again next year.
