IU has a great team.
Win or lose tonight, the Canes exceeded everyone’s expectations.
I thought the committee would never allow them into the CFP.
I thought they would lose in the first round.
I never thought they would beat OSU.
I was surprised they beat Ol’ Miss.
They proved me wrong again and again.
Almost no one expects them to beat IU.
A win tonight would be beyond great.
Don’t break your big screen TV. 
I plan on screaming at my TV a lot.
Hopefully, it doesn’t get late early and Miami gives IU a good game at least.
Better yet, they win.

Spent today watching the Indiana defense. I noticed they operate on a formula they carry through the entire game. First down, they run a run blitz. If they win first down, you bet the farm they’ll blitz on second down. On third down, they run routine four man rush, but every once in awhile sneak in a corner back blitz. Indiana didn’t blow every team out. Their greatest problems came against teams with formidable rush defenses, Ohio State, Iowa, and they won by a miracle over Penn State.
Too, I noticed that Mendoza’s release is faster than Sayin’s who was really affected by the rush, but significantly slower than Trinidad Chambliss who truly got rid of the football in a hurry.

And this pregame is worse than the week of media. Apparently we suck and they’re the greatest ever yet the underdog.
Miami needs to shit stomp tonight.
31-17 ‘Canes bc wtf not
Have had a mild tension headache. Watching DVR’ed UConn-Notre Dame women’s hoops to distract me. With all the pregame hype and hoopla the game itself probably won’t start until 9:15 PM anyway. As usually, can’t watch live until I eventually catch up. Oww, geez.
Honestly, I am nervous about this game.
They say it’s a 60/40 IU crowd advantage. We usually do well as an underdog. We have a lot of dogs on our sideline from the old days…but all of that can wear off fairly soon.
Miami has to play a CLEAN game! IU has to play a sloppy game.
My biggest concern is our secondary…
I don’t have the best feeling so…
What I think will happen: IU 37-Miami 17
What I hope will happen: Miami 31-IU 28

According to the clock, its a 7:50 start. I still hate the 3 point loss predictions. If it’s that close just win the game. We can win, I think they have more avenues to win…..AND DESMOND HOWARD JUST PICKED US! We’re effed!
Damn, Saban too! No, probably Indiana. If this gets into the upper 20s score-wise, we start getting away from winning I think. Needs to be a defensive game.

Against Ohio State, we had zero procedural penalties. We cannot afford to beat ourselves. Saban gave a terse yet accurate strategy for Miami to succeed. Stay on schedule, win first down, win time of possession.
Gotta like Marcus Freeman as an excellent young coach. It looks like the Canes made an impression on him this season. One thing is for certain, whomever we played they knew afterward whom they played. Time to exhibit some ferocity and some controlled violence.

I just want a clean game and to stay in it. This team entertained the hell out of me this year. No matter what happens, it was an amazing show.

That Indiana center, No. 78, is one helluva player. Let’s hope Carson Beck plays the game of his life.

I prefer Beck to pass much quicker. When he retreats to one side of the field, it narrows the area in which he can complete a pass. Everyone was covered, he correctly threw it out of bounds
