I think your excitement is a little misplaced.
There are some positive Republican signs. Florida was a bloodbath for Dems. An absolute rout. There R’a flipped 4 seats in that state. There is a lesson to be learned there. Stacey Abrams was a rising star and she’s done. Not a chance in GA. Beto got worked in Texas. He was a rising star for the Dems.
NY was way closer than it has been in years. Zeldin won 90% of the counties in the state. He won Staten Island and only lost the vote by a few percentage points.
Masters and Lake could still win Arizona, although Masters is less likely. A lot of votes outstanding there. Also typical Arizona voting mess as I mentioned.
The other factors are that the economy isn’t likely to improve in the next two years, abortion won’t be a hot topic to tout for Dems in 2024, and the Senate map is way more favorable for Rs in 2024 and 2026.
It all comes down to the R candidate for President.
I don’t think this is the wave you think it is. Biden has a pretty abysmal approval rating and it isn’t likely to get better any time soon.

Indiana, nobody was closer to predicting correctly the election results as you. Maybe you should offer your prescience to the Trafalgar Group that really blew it.
Roe was important, and was decided on a scholarly constitutional basis put forth by Samuel Alito, who perhaps unwittingly changed the course of this election.
For my own part, I was convinced by Robert Cahaly’s Trafalgar Group that we were going to see a red Tsunami. Trafalgar I thought had distinguished itself apart from other polling entities as being the gold standard in polling. I did try to handicap this election as an analyst, but couldn’t resist the temptation of being a cheerleader. Alas, it turned out that the easiest person to fool turned out to be me. The only Red Wave happened in Florida. In my own district, Matt Gaetz won in a runaway. Our governor put on a clinic in his defeat of Charley Crist who is now recognized as a Triple Crown Loser by losing as a Republican, an Independent, and now a Democrat. Why did DeSantis win by such a margin. He won by being devoted to conservative causes, governing through action rather than blather. He faced off time and again with liberals and sent them packing with tails dragging. Conservative governance is the pathway to winning.
Finished in one day and didn’t let Feds in. Had an actual fair election and look what the results are.

I was surprised to see this total for popular vote. I know the Dems love the popular vote. Republicans 6% ahead this cycle.
That was a bump from a Dem heavy county. The Washington Post came out last night and said Masters is a slight favorite at this point.
Nevada has more Cook County remaining so Cortez Masto should close the gap.
Also, Borbert is only down 60 votes with the last batch that came in. This is going down to the wire.
Arizona votes remaining are heavy same day and dropped off mail in voting, which should favor Republicans.
That’s quite a nod towards the accuracy of a pollster that began only 8 years ago. It’s curious that without any evidence whatsoever, you feel there was election impropriety simply based off your personal feelings towards a remarkably new pollster who works directly for the GOP.
Curiously, they’ve gotten 66% of races called correctly since they began in 2016 through 2020.
Emerson College is at 76% correctly called races. The Quinnipiac University poll is at 82%. Public Policy Polling is at 79% accuracy. Hell, Survey USA is at 89%.
These are all easily verified, shows each race, and yet…you feel that the one you LIKE, Trafalgar, only been around since 2016 and is less accurate than the even the few listed being wrong this time around means there must have been cheating.

That, again, is a very curious statement. Utah is an all out red state. They vote by mail in almost every case, every person, and yet nobody is questioning their free and fair elections. You never question free and fair elections when you win. Isn’t it strange you claim Trump’s victory was stolen but never once questioned a single GOP race in the same cycle, using the same ballots, filled out at the same time of the Trump v Biden vote.

Those are projections, not the official results. Even Florida is still counting, but the outstanding votes aren’t large enough to change the results.
