Over the last week I’ve noticed something cool happen in the Shelter.

GSC and 51 took the same side in an argument about Catholicism. Bikki argued against GSC.

Regarding education, bikki disagreed with skeeter, and I defended bikki by pushing back against Warden. In the same thread, I’m debating against DJ.

I enjoy these kinds of topics because they show that everything isn’t a hard left/right divide. It’s not either CNN or FOX. We’re all dudes with different ideas that overlap in different ways.

Even though bikki’s a Russian shill.

There’s only 1 group who who shills the message “dude your brainwashed by mass corp media” duuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrr though. While legit posting fake fucking news from the gateway pundit to hell.

So I’d say, duh, every issue is complex. When we argue against those who have lost touch with basic reality, that’s where I draw the line. And unfortunately, that is most all of them here in the shelter. I know there are good conservatives lurking. I’m not sure if this trumpian Pandora box will ever be closed. But I’ll be damned if I won’t fight to nail the door shut.
