Oh man, it’s awesome Biden’s getting rid of the $10k SALT cap. Trump’s change actually punished marriage, because two single people filing separately could collectively deduct $20k SALT, but 2 married people, whether filing jointly or separately, were penalized and capped at $10k.
FINALLY this stupid Trump rule is going away.
This isn’t about rich Americans, it’s about middle class Americans who own property in New York and California. This is the main reason my taxes went UP after Trump’s change, so let me tell you, this is score +1 for Biden in my book.
