Let god sort it out. Who am I to judge? I’m
Not going to stand in the way of two people who want to be happy.
I’d rather do that than treat them like second class citizens.

Same stance should be granted to abortions though. You are inconsistent in your application of your faith.
You’re evading. I’m not asking you to judge. I’m asking if you agree with God’s position that it’s wrong. That’s all I’m asking.
Can’t believe I’m going to say this but he’s 100% correct.
Disgusting people.
Why are these fucking maniacs being given a platform?
I swear to christ if I was a father and someone would flash my kid…Hell if someone flashes my mother. They better be ready for hell
I can’t believe that you pretend you are a christian though. So let’s not get carried away.
DJ is right though. You can’t say you are ok to follow one aspect of the faith but then selectively choose on the other.
I mean we are all fallible. Not the end all be all. Just pointing out an inconsistency in logic. We all do it too. 51 is probably the closest to a true christian on this board as he has empathy, doesn’t lie, and can admit when he is wrong.
Says the guy who doesn’t believe in Christianity and knows nothing about it?
Gay marriage doesn’t result in murder.
You ignoring definitions doesn’t make your wackjob ideology correct.
Considering that you support abortion at 9 months where the baby can survive entirely outside the womb, I consider your ideology literal infanticide.
Good question. I also really think it was keen to use Leviticus as the reference material.
Let’s explore that question, shall we?
Leviticus context - Leviticus is the third book of the Torah, first five books of the Christian Bible, the Third Book of Moses. Most of this is Yahweh’s commandments to Moses and Moses repeating said commandments to the Israelites after Exodus and the escape from Egypt, at the foot of Mount Sinai. This took place (in the book) during the month or month and a half between completion of the Tabernacle and the Israelite’s departure from Sinai.
76 things are banned in Leviticus. Let’s see a few
1-7 deals with Ritual Sacrifice. When is the last time you did so to your God?
3:17 - ‘This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.’”
All fat was to be used in sacrifices to God. Again, when have you last sacrificed to God? You better get on that shit.
Failing to testify against any wrongdoing you’ve witnessed (boy, GSC is going to have a rough one trying to explain his failure on this one…honestly, that is)
5:1 "`Or if a person thoughtlessly takes an oath to do anything, whether good or evil–in any matter one might carelessly swear about–even though he is unaware of it, in any case when he learns of it he will be guilty.
Touching an unclean animal - so much for burying the puppy if he dies
5:2 2 Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
Letting your hair become unkempt or tearing your clothes
10:6 6 And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the Lord hath kindled.
Drinking alcohol in holy places (Catholics are in a bit of a bind on this one)
10:9 Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:
Eating an animal that doesn’t chew cud and has a divided hoof
11:4-7 4Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 5And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 6And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 7And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. 8Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
Eating or touching the carcass of any seafood without fins or scales
11:10-12 10And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you: 11They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. 12Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
Eating or touching the carcass of a flying insect with four legs unless those legs are jointed
11:20-22 20All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you. 21Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; 22Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
Going to Church within 33 days of giving birth to a boy (12:4 or a girl 12:5)
Having sex with a woman during her period (18:19)
Making idols or metal gods (19:4) - I’ll bet you love your cross, huh?
Reaping to the very edges of a field (19:4)
Picking up grapes that have fallen in your vineyard (19:9)
Stealing and Lying (19:11) - * You shall not steal. You shall not deceive or speak falsely to one another. 12You shall not swear falsely by my name, thus profaning the name of your God. I am the LORD.
Defrauding your neighbor (19:3) - Big problem for MAGA
Holding back the wages of an employee overnight (19:13) - Big one for Trump, again
Perverting justice, showing partiality to either the poor or the rich (19:15)
15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
Spreading slander (Again, GSC has a big problem on this one) (19:16)
Doing anything to endanger your neighbor’s life (19:16) the entire MAGA movement has an issue on this one
Seeking revenge or bearing a grudge (19:18) - again, problems abound
Mixing fabrics of clothing - anyone checking their tags? (19:19) - 19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
Cross-breeding animals or planting different seeds inthe same field (19:19)
Sleeping with another man’s slave - no issue with slavery itself, though (19:20)
Eating fruit from a tree within 4 years of planting (19:23)
Trimming your beard (19:27) Um…
Cutting your hair at the sides (19:27)
Getting tattoos (19:28)
Turning to mediums or spiritualists (19:31) Reagan had an issue on this one for sure
Mistreating foreigners (19:33) Doh! Shit, the entire MAGA movement is based on this
When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
Cursing your father or mother (20:9) but, for sure you people are pro-life, right?
For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
Marrying a prostitute, divorcee or widow if you are a priest (21:7, 13)
Working on the sabbath (23:3) but, Saturday is the REAL sabbath, right?
blasphemy (24:14) punishable by stoning to death
Selling land permanently (25:23) Ouch property rights, huh?
“‘The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you reside in my land as foreigners and strangers.
For good measure, I’ll throw in a little bit of 35-37
If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and are unable to support themselves among you, help them as you would a foreigner and stranger, so they can continue to live among you. Do not take interest or any profit from them, but fear your God, so that they may continue to live among you. You must not lend them money at interest or sell them food at a profit.
There was a reason usury was forbidden among Christians in the early days…
So, GSC - why specifically did you mention ONLY 18:22? Have you ever thrown a football? Then, aren’t you just as guilty as Ru Paul?
GSC - WHY DO YOU ADMONISH YOUR OWN GOD?
JOHN 15:9-12
9
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in
my love.
10
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love,
just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in
his love.
11
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in
you, and that your joy may be full.
12
This is my commandment, that you love one another as I
have loved you.
I thought you said you studied for years at Seminary? Did you not read Paul’s letters?
Christ is the only true sacrifice. Sacrifices before Christ were meant to absolve sin to save a person form Sheol BUT THEY COULDNT GRANT PARADISE. Only the living sacrifice, Jesus does that. Only the Lamb of God. Therefor, all old covenant rituals are null and void.
1 Timothy 4:1-5
New International Version
4 The Spirit(A) clearly says that in later times(B)some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits(C) and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.(D) 3 They forbid people to marry(E) and order them to abstain from certain foods,(F) which God created(G) to be received with thanksgiving(H) by those who believe and who know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good,(I) and nothing is to be rejected(J) if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God(K) and prayer.
The dietary laws are no longer binding either. If you are in the Spirit and receive with Thanksgiving, all is kosher.
Regarding religious festivals (I assume you mean the blood of Christ).
Colossians 2:16, NIV: Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.
But even further more than this- the priest transubstantiates the wine when he blesses it. It is now the blood of Christ which we are to drink for life.
I could go on and on on each charge but I’ll boil it down to this.
The only laws of the old covenant that remain are the MORAL LAWS.
The prohibition on Homosexual behavior would remain.
There’s only one caveat, we are not to judge, meaning we are not to say “you will go to hell” OR “stone him”
But we are to warn. We are to say the action is against the law.
Lol
What?
Oh the irony.
First, never been to Seminary, never uttered or typed those words in my life
Secondly, it is amusing to me how you appear to think only in terms of Catholicism. I think, potentially, you were raised Catholic and think you did some searching and confirmed your original beliefs. You appear to think all sects think like Catholics and have the same interpretation. That’s a very naive perspective.
According to Matthew 5, Jesus says:
Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished! Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
You quote from Timothy reminds me of Catholicism in the first bit, actually. Also, The First Epistle to Timothy is attributed to Paul, who never met Jesus. Of course, he claimed to have…magically, after death…and then came in with quite a different interpretation than the apostles. But, you take all this as real, as cute as it is…so, we can work from there. Though, I’d think Moses is more of an authority than Paul…but, none the less…
As for your blood of Christ and transubstantiation, it’s fake. What you’re claiming is magic is real, despite the fact that if you bring in wine and pretend magic happens and before you ingest it, you test the substance - it’s going to be wine, still. Magic isn’t real. You can play pretend to justify your actions all you want, but again, magic isn’t real. It’s wine. You can pretend Smurfs live in it and stir in the blood of Christ, or that underpants gnomes steal your socks in the dryer…but, they don’t. Enjoy playing pretend all you want, though. It doesn’t change reality or facts. Don’t believe me? Bring an alcohol swap to Mass and find out.
Based upon what and whom? You? Catholicism? That’s your interpretation or your religious sect’s interpretation. If you believe Wayne Grudem, Distinguished Research Professor of Theology and Biblical Studies at Phoenix Seminary., you’re wrong and the new covenant under Jesus eliminated the entire covenant with Moses.
Well, you’re fucked on that one. We have posts, bruh
Post doesn’t sound as good with out the Lord Protector Of Lying actually lying tho…
His god took screenshots too. Just saying.
I thought you said you had some formal education on Christianity. I could be wrong. Only helps me if you don’t.
I’m actually a revert. My parents were Catholic but they are not religious in any sense of the word. In my late teens I completely fell out of the church and spent years reading about Islam and Eastern religions. I was probably agnostic until about 27-28. I was very very close to saying the Shadada mostly because if one doesn’t have a good foundation in the 1st and 2nd Century Church Fathers, it can be easy to be led astray.
Ultimately 3 individuals led me back to Catholicism. 1. Tim Staples 2. Eric Mataxis 3. William Lane Craig.
1 is a Catholic, 2 is a Sedevecantist, 3 is a Protestant.
Craig grounded my logical confidence in the faith. I watched him body atheist after atheist until they just avoided him.
Mataxis was instrumental in helping me understand the different resources available for the early Church fathers. He was amazing in using the Church Fathers destroying Protestants in debates.
Staples is an expert on Marian dogma. For a long time I struggled with Mary being so venerated in the religion. Staples puts all of that to rest.
You always revert to this but your 100% wrong.
Paul, on the road to Damascus, encounters Jesus. He’s blinded by Jesus. He comments on meeting Jesus 3 times.
He also debates with Peter and the other Apostles. Surely if he was a fraud THEYD HAVE KNOWN IT! You think you know better than Peter and John and the others?
And here is where you reveal your bias. You’re against miracles and the supernatural. That’s why you don’t believe Paul met Jesus. That’s the reason you reject Christ. I get it. You’re entitled to your opinion but it’s simply your opinion.
