How? Perry played his ass off. It’s not like we saw decrease in efficiency and production when he came in.
Perry played better than expected. Good for him.
Still. We just can’t come up with the right plays to get a W.

We definitely missed out on 4 points in the drive he went down. That was the difference in the game. (Of course that assumes King would have performed as well as Perry the rest of the game, and wouldn’t have fumbled. I think he was up for it though.)

The fumble was unfortunate. Lack of playing time together is what I saw as the reason for that fumble. Perry wanted to keep and the tailback thought he had an opening. Give it up to the offensive line though. They played well for the most part. Much improvement. They played well enough to win this game. Need to close well on the portal and maybe land the best recruits available and let’s see where we go from here. They played well enough to win the game. If we got a break or two we win. We get that turnover they took away from us, we could win. They don’t call that bogus PI call, we could win. So many things could have helped us win.

The refs did not kill us. We killed us. Fumbles, dropped int’s, dropped TD’s, not wrapping up, not covering. Throwing a screen pass on 4th and 10.
Refs weren’t great. Missed calls on both sides.

Baker playing soft zone the first half allowing their QB to have all freaking day to hit WRs. Second half was almost all man with 5-7 rushing the QB, this allowed Miami to stop the run and pressure the QB. Clearly they though McCloud and Joyner were similar to Roche and Phillips. Off-season need #1&2: CB and DE.speaking of DE, where was Chaz?

WR play. Harley got hurt, Pope couldn’t catch a cold, Wiggins is afraid of his shadow. WTF didn’t Smith see the field more? Only one target for a kid that has Hands and Speed. If Pope or Wiggins plays in 2021, I’m off the Fields wagon.

We can’t play zone defense, and Baker took 2 and a half quarters to finally adjust his tactics. I clearly understand we don’t have the talent, but damn you gotta call what you can and adjust by at least quarter to quarter on what you are calling.
I also don’t know what the hell we were doing on Offense the last two possessions of the game “outside of dropping perfect passes” then a fuking screen on 4th and 9 was a nut job call.

It seems to me Miami WRs drop more balls than any time I’ve seen this year. Nevertheless, we did put up 34 pts after a miserable beginning. You’d think scoring that many points, we’d have won. Our defense is really crap. Manny needs to put the trigger on Baker.
I hope King’s injury is not serious. Perry had a good game, but it would have been a lot better had we not dropped passes that damn sure should have been caught. Depressing end to the season.
