Totally deserve to lose. We almost scraped by by the skin of our balls but this is what happens when you lag the whole game. We could only win with a miracle. A miracle didnāt happen.

I stopped watching after the first half.
This game had loss written all over it from the get go.
Well so much for a Heisman for Carson or Bain. Did not see much of Bain tonight. Keionte Scott was phenomenal. I think I like Marty Brown best of all our backs. Heās got more instinct than the others, probably from just killing it at North Dakota State. Our running game was pathetic. Our whole offense is predicated on passing the football. Weāre not a complete team as has been said repeatedly by pundits. Thereās no reason with our offensive line that we should not be able to drive the football. I wish Louisvilleās Chris Bell was on our team. Strange we donāt see anything of WR Moore whom I think is our most physical deep threat. We played poorly, made too many procedural mistakes that shouldnāt happen in the sixth game of the season. We used no tempo till the second half. Brohm certainly did a splendid job of getting them ready, especially all the different formations in the first quarter. Mali is fabulous. We donāt see enough of Lofton. Were I a pro team, I think Iād pass on Carson Beck. He wilts under pressure and his movements are clumsy. Yes, I think we should have gotten Mendoza. Damn, I hate losing, knowing that man for man, we have a superior team.
Every team plays a bad game during a season, even those that win the NC. Maybe itās best to be brought back down to earth, Certainly, Dawson needs to get our rushing game in gear. As Madstork says, we see too many direct handoffs straight into the line. Notice when we showed them some motion, Mali scored a touchdown on the counter. It was deception that allowed that play to work.

I hate Friday night games. Thatās no excuse. Beck got exposed again this season. If Cam Ward was the QB, we win the game easily. Cam would not have been caught running to the end zone. His legs would have given us a different weapon.
They made us 1 dimensional. I honestly thought that if we had won this game, we finish the regular season undefeated. If history holds true to form, Louisville will lay an egg next game.
