Miami vs. FSU game thread

I was so happy to see Emory start, btw. Amazing to see a QB out there who isn’t actively hurting the team.

Too bad we couldn’t get the 2nd TD there. 14-10 would’ve quieted the stands nicely.

Negative. Would have gotten possession after the safety. Might have been 5 instead of 3

This team HAS RBs.

Yah, but remember we get the 2, and the ball back so maybe we get 9, or more realistically 5

We need throw it long on this play and hope for a catch or penalty. That safety call sure looked like home cooking.

I can’t believe FSU tried an onside kick…

and speaking of kicks… we need a big game from Borregales

Good grief. We’re ahead. Who’d have thunk it.

That is a LOT of really worried faces…

Here comes a Travis keeper

Called it!

Good call Go Canes

That was a dumb playcall. Not saying it couldnt be a run, but damn… a dive up the middle into that FSU line??

So wait… Miami comes out of the pile with the ball, the ACC refs are assuming that FSU recovered, and Miami ripped it out of their hand? And awards the ball to FSU?

How does that work?

It was terrible call. Why not throw to a TE. Why do we have TEs? This team HAS to win first down and not have so damn many third down long conversions.

Benson is making CMC pay for the snub…

Misdirection is a killer. You don’t need to block guys if you can fool them. This is what I complain about regarding our offense. We fool no one.

FSU is pinning their ears back and teeing off… crowding the LOS. They are not afraid of Williams right now.

Dawson needs some misdirection, the slants, or screeens

We need a turnover before this game gets out of control.

I hate that the announcers keep circling Restrepo in these critical down situations. He has been absent
