All day long, I’ve watched the clock. Sheesh, I’ve waited twenty years for this game. A profound thank you goes to Mario Cristobal for stewarding the Canes at last into the playoffs. Under Mario, the Canes no longer get pushed around, and usually are the ones doing the pushing. Post game comments here.

During the course of the day, I prepared my signature New Orleans bread pudding in honor of the occasion. Bread pudding is normally served with hard sauce comprised of bourbon, vanilla,butter, brown sugar, and cream. You must heat the mixture at low heat to dissipate the alcohol. However, I like the hard sauce to be HARD so that it not only is delicious but makes you feel good. So I add a more than generous amount of Maker’s Mark to my sauce. I delivered my finished dessert to several of my neighbors with the caveat of NEVER putting my bread pudding into a microwave. Sorry will be the one who does not exercise this precaution, for my bread pudding will explode if microwaved. You cannot put alcohol into a microwave. So far, no explosions have been reported.. At this writing, I am feeling very good awaiting the start of the game.
My wife would love that bread pudding, bikki. Maybe we can make it happen one day.
Been waiting all day for this game too. Will be watching on my phone so hope the wifi is good.
This’ll be a tough game. Last week’s defense is a must, but we sorely need offense too. Beck needs to be on his passing game and we need to establish the run to keep options open and own the 4th.

The game being indoors takes away the elements of the outside. So glad it’s game time.
Hoping for the best, want us to show and lay it all on the line tonight! We should be allowed to pull a hair out of Terry Porter’s nostrils for every point we get so let’s fill up the scoreboard tonight!!!
