Meanwhile in Clemson

Game isn’t over yet but it looks like L-ville may beat Clemson at home.

I didn’t see that coming.

I did! Clemson isn’t as good as they think they are. They haven’t played anybody. Georgia showed me exactly who Clemson was early. That almost ensures us a shot at the ACC title so long as we take care of business.

They lost to Georgia 34-3. Then they beat App. State, NC State, Stanford, FSU, Wake and UVA and suddenly Clemson was “good again” and “back”. Now they lose to Louisville and have @ VT, @ Pitt, S. Car to go. They’re not back and they ain’t done losing either.

I have not been sold on Clemson since Miami beat them last year. When I went to the game I could not believe how little speed they had on offense. Clemson no longer has play makers. I felt that SMU was the best team outside of Miami. When Miami plays vs. SMU in the ACC title game- Take the over.

Yes, this version of Clemson certainly isn’t the Trevor Lawrence version of a few years ago.

They lost a lot of talent to graduation and have never really come back.

Dabo is a good coach but losing a great QB like Lawrence has consequences.

I’m not looking forward a Ward-less Miami next season. Hopefully, Mario can score another great transfer QB in the off season.

Clemson isn’t playing with today’s transfer rules. They still think it’s 2019 or something. Unless Dabo gets with the times they will continue to underwhelm.

I took the liberty of a slight edit that’s also truthful.

Dabo is a great example of what happens when the booster+bagman advantage evaporates. Ever the Pharisee/Saducee …deep down he still seethes at the fact that kids can now get paid and can transfer to another school without the HC’s say-so.

That’s exactly it. He lost the control that he held dearly to. Now that’s gone.

I remember Clemson had a couple of players who were projected to be first round draft picks before NIL and both opted to stay another year at Clemson. CHA-CHING!!!
