The ivy is a turn off. Pass!

The ivy looks good but it’s invasive as hell.

You made my point for me. At least you don’t have to paint it!

IIRC manny was independently wealthy with family money right? Nonetheless, that palace would prob only cost 1M in happy valley.

The campus is about 3? miles from that house.

I lived in a dorm, Pearson Hall and then in one of those on campus post-War, L shaped, cinder block, 3 story walk ups on Walsh that was infested with huge cockroaches and had no A/C. Most of those were torn down when the basketball arena was built. The one I lived in survived until maybe 4? years ago when it was leveled to make room for those nice, new dorms/apartments.

My final year, I moved off campus to sort of a dumpy apartment maybe two miles from campus which was about 1/2 mile from US1/Dixie Hwy on Sunset. That place, which is still there, was maybe a mile from Manny’s house as the crow flies. Crime, especially property crime was fairly rampant when I lived there and there were neighborhoods nearby that were basically slums. Maybe it had changed, but, as an adult, I wouldn’t want to live around there for fear of getting burglarized, carjacked or worse.

Well, his father was an attorney who was Mayor of Miami for eight years… so you’d figure the family would be very well off due to the graft alone.
