I am not looking forward to belicheck to UNC if it happens. It could become a powerhouse that Miami will have to deal with. Although miami struggles with non powerhouses as well.
I think it would be an idiotic decision for UNC. The guy is 73 and wants his kid to be the coach in waiting. He would have to recruit and deal with NIl. No thanks.

I dunno… some pundits think he benefited from having Tom Brady for so long. The Pats were not the same after Brady ‘retired’.
Most are saying he’s setting his son up for the job. Can you imagine 72 year old Belichick trying to navigate the college football landscape these days? I’m thinking Dan Lanning and Kirby Smart have a hard enough time doing it. We’ll see where this goes.
If he can navigate a 24 year old girlfriend he can navigate this as well.

I think Bill going to UNC is a splash hire in name only. I really don’t see him lighting the world on fire. Again, look at his record when Brady left plus he’s an old school guy that some kids just don’t want to play for. That’s my opinion right now but I don’t see UNC winning the ACC next year.
