now that is some great news…i continue to marvel at modern medicine.
Sure hope so. And I hope he doesn’t get killed vs Bama
There are a few key factors on that:
- Can Rambo and/or Harley get deep a few times to keep their safeties honest?
- Will we be able to run the ball at all? (see #1)
- Can Lashlee come up with a game plan that keeps Bama guessing?
- Does the AA Donaldson show up or is he going to be the 400lber?
- Does Rivers take the next step to being a legit All ACC type?
- Does Nelson take the next step to being a legit first rounder?
I’m not going to hold my breathe on Gaynor becoming much better and if Scaife is our RT, I expect a couple sacks from him but an ok game. If it is Williams, we won’t be able to run the ball (assuming Gaynor doesn’t give up 1 Tech TFLs every play).
Overall, Miami is going to have one hell of a time playing Bama. OL should be good enough but I don’t believe it will be. DB, DT should be good enough but LB and DE are major concerns.
Don’t lose by 40!
Bama can also run it down our throat.
I’m afraid DB’s won’t matter because their OL will maul us.
I think we will see Bama run it like UNC did. LB’s are too small to take on those blocks consistently. Miami will definitely have to have a special night on offense to keep it close.
Hopefully, Saban will be merciful.
