Skeeter isn’t affiliated with a party from my understanding. He just has an opinion.
This is true but he’s a sad victim of partisanship.
He doesn’t need me defending him but I see it differently. I’ve always been Republican and conservative. I didn’t like Trump the candidate, still don’t love him, but the other side is so abhorrent to me that it’s an easy call.
Skeeter, on the other hand, strikes me as someone who was apolitical. Believe it or not, many people don’t live and breathe politics and just want to live their lives and not be bothered. COVID messed with that in a big way for him.
Add to that the fact that with BLM the Dems and media basically were apologists for the rioters and it became an easy choice for him. Choose the side that he feels is less intrusive to his personal life.
