The burden of proof in the case is two fold. Lake must prove that the election was in many ways conducted in illegal fashion. I think she’ll prevail in this argument, however, Lake will fail to clear the second hurdle proving her claim that she won the election and should be named Arizona governor. Her claim is based upon conjectural logic, not an examination of voter ballots.
The judge will rule the election was conducted poorly as a result of inadvertence rather than malice, and he will likely order the Secretary of State to cure polling deficiencies in future elections. Katie Hobbs will be certified as governor, and Lake’s appeal in the case will likely be summarily rejected.
The case was tantamount to just sweeping annoying dirt beneath the carpet and shutting off dissenting voices. Soon, anyone alleging that the election was rigged will be labeled a denier or be subject to libel suits.

The judge seemed hasty in moving case off of his docket. When he set a two day time limit for trial, I knew he was handling the case expediently. A courageous judge would have allowed much greater time for depositions and subpoenas. This judge rejected being heroic.
Yea/ he doesn’t want the fallout. But he did us a huge favor allowing the evidence to be introduced and the appeals process to be legitimate.
