Apparently toast at TAM and his firing is imminent.
His buyout must still be rather substantial. (Reportedly, $75M … Ouch!!!)
Said one TAM director, “Losing to Miami was the last straw.”
Everyone who said that huge money, guaranteed contract was absurd (including me) has been proven right.
Aside from the ridiculous buyout, I don’t think TAM should fire him. He has assembled a lot of talent and a few more points here and there and the team’s record is much better. The team won 51-10 yesterday.
