I have been watching this kid the past few games and I got to say he looks like he has money on the other team. He is whiffing tackles, taking exceptionally bad angles, missing passes, blitzing with open shots to the QB and not going after the QB.

I hear the fan boys, he has a pick to seal a game. But when you watch that play the WR runs past his face and he does not move and the QB throws behind the WR so bad that it hits Williams in the hands.

Something is not right with the kid. People want to see a 5 star play and want him to be better than Hall but the kid looks wrong. I do not really think the kid had money on the game. But he needs to be sit if he is going to be putting out the effort he has been.
I do not care if he transfers. That has been the death of this team. Worrying about 5 stars transfering. Let him walk. Watch him vs GT if you do not believe me.

Oh the irony if Hall transfers because Williams surpassed him on the depth chart then we have to sit Williams for giving up too many big plays and he transfers

I agree Williams has been making some seriously bad plays the last two weeks (he took a lot of plays off last game).

Regardless, not concerned with losing Hall, that guys ship has sailed.

Staff needs to work hard on Williams and counter his press clippings and if they can’t need to recruit over him.

Williams is something to be happy about right now guys.

Although I agree…This kid needs his ass busted in practice. And one of my gripes with this staff is I don’t believe Diaz is that type and he doesn’t coach in that mannerer…Nobody on this team fears Diaz…IMO James Williams is probably getting his ass kissed by Diaz and hearing how great he is and reading every canes site saying the same thing. He needs to improve…Hopefully T-Rob gets in his ass. Diaz (and Banda) simply seem to fucking buddy buddy

If James Williams gets another fucking flag…If he comes in ridiculously reckless for a tackle (Everyone misses guys now and then, but it’s like Williams (Carter was like this most of his career too) just don’t care?..He grabs some pine.

It will be an interesting decision S vs. LB for Williams in the future…Breaking down and wrapping up at 6’5 will never be his strength, but he covers ground and has ball skills of a safety for sure.

Penalties kill drives. One of the reasons Saben has been so successful is that one of the vital elements of his “process” is to eliminate dumb penalties. James Williams still needs to grow into his body. When he does, I think he will live up to his five star ranking.
