I repeat my prediction that Biden fires Durham. Durham is getting too close to bringing down a cadre of insurrectionists whose behavior is tantamount legally to treason. Biden as chief of the executive branch indeed has constitutional power to fire Durham just as Nixon fired Leon Panetta. Insane leftist Attorney General Garland will hardly offer any resistance to the firing. In fact, Garland will refuse to prosecute those indicted by grand juries.
All hell will break lose if Durham is fired, but his firing would effectively end the probes into the Russian hoax and short circuit prosecution of the guilty bastards. However, if Biden does same, and I believe he will, his actions coupled with his violating constitutional law related to the border will lead to his impeachment in 2022, and should the Republicans win the Senate, there is a remote possibility that he will be convicted and removed from office. That of course is an extreme long shot.
Amazingly, Hillary will not be put in jail which is especially reprehensible inasmuch as the Jan 6 patriots most definitely will receive jail sentences until Trump pardons them in 2024. Biden’s actions effectively will end the Special Prosecutor Law.

Sussman states they contacted him to which he then relayed the info to the CIA, however the data shows the phones’ were being used during Obama’s Presidency, not Trump’s.
Big nothing-burger, again. But, these are the same people who believed Sydney Powell and Rudy. Even Trump’s own staff abandoned ship when that craziness came aboard.

I think I agree with DJ’s take so far. This isn’t really “new” news. this is a long, protracted investigation and the Trump people are making a lot of hay about nothing in particular. No new crimes have been alleged. It’s a confusing mess and I’m not even sure what to think after reading this article, but I’m happy to see an investigation ongoing.
I don’t know, this seems like a big deal.
Will be interesting to watch this progress. If the spying operation is proven, that seems like pretty clear treason territory, which would be a little more than a nothing burger.

This whole story is little more than Durham trying to preempt Michael Sussman getting off by pretending this isn’t a post-hoc investigation. What Durham didn’t mention was the whole thing was Ronald Joffe accessing data from the WH, BEFORE Trump took office, working with the FBI at their request, in an attempt to keep the Obama administration safe from hackers. It’s basic communications monitoring. The reason Durham didn’t include the dates in the filing, on purpose. Kash Patel has known about the allegation since 2017, when he asked Michael Sussman about it, when he was an intelligence committee staffer. Durham accused Sussman of lying to FBI investigators in 2016. He never went to James Baker to get the phones at the DOJ, the single witness to the alleged conversation. He didn’t find the phones until Jan. After he revealed he finally had the 2 phones which he should have had 4 years ago, he had to disclose he was told about it back in 2018. That’s why this report comes out as an attempt to prerempt Sussman’s filing to dismiss the case as he was charged before the investigation took place and wasn’t a post hoc discovery of things. He didn’t investigate Joffe’s relationship with the FBI before he charges Sussman.
