It Looks Like

The old board finally bought the farm.

End of an era.

I wonder if Moose was there to the end…

It was a great message board, incredibly erudite at times, interspersed with towering foolishness as well. Shadow was a brilliant head honcho and Laus was the best there ever was, one who put his heart into recruiting and one helluva Hurricane fan. Hopefully, we carry on this tradition and further develop this board. Already, we have a nucleus of talent, and 305 has turned out, I think, to be a capable leader. It’s time we recruit some new blood to amplify discussion since it looks like the Hurricane football program is on the rise.

Bikki, you still got Mississippi takin’ this thing or are you having 2nd doubts?

I wish there was a concrete plan which could be executed to bring in fresh blood. I have no firsthand knowledge but there must be some intelligent, disgruntled fans on other boards who might appreciate a less tumultuous exchange of ideas and information. Are there any ways to approach such?

If any of us are members of those other sites, you could just drop a hint here and there about this site. Straight up word of mouth. But that might be frowned upon in some places.

TMC, yes, I have some doubts. Presently, Georgia looks strongest in SEC. Jury is still out how DeBoer does at Alabama; he’s been successful everywhere he has been, but I have never believed Jaden Milrose could carry the Tide to a NC. That is still my belief. I like Lane Kiffen, and Mississippi is likely to upset some teams this year. Same I think for Auburn which is rising surreptitiously.

Still worried about the Florida game. Florida’s QB historically has played conservative, not throwing many interceptions, limiting downfield throws. This season, I am looking for a change in downfield strategy for two reasons: Napier is on a true hot seat at Gainesville, and 5 star freshman Lagway will be looking for playing time. Florida also has a freshman RB Jadan Baugh who is impressive, a 240 pounder who played disturbingly well in their spring game. Damn, I hope we don’t lay an egg in the Swamp.

The old board is back up.

Still not being used but it is there.

So it was just the semi-annual “board is down for a week.” Dude’s payment info must constantly be changing for the auto-renew to be so borked.
