Not complaining about anyone’s posts, most here can disagree civilly and most manage to leave politics to the Storm Sewer where is belongs.
However, I recently ran a cleaning app on the laptop that I normally use to post here. Unfortunately, it wiped out my password for this board the auto-sign I always used was gone and I could not remember my password.
Long story short, there seems to be no one to contact and no way to recover your password if you forget it.
There is an email address listed as a contact (Texas based) but it is out of service/deleted and immediately bounces.
So, DO NOT LOSE YOUR PASSWORD here or you are in for a lot of fun.
(I eventually remembered mine, I was close all along and had an idea but I have so many freaking passwords, it is hard to keep them all straight.
The bad news is all of you will once again be subjected to my posts.
Also, I noticed the old board (Sean’s board?/ Shadow?) is up for sale if anyone is interested.

How is this true?
If you lose your password, when you go to log in, can’t you click “I forgot my password” and have it reset?
This has been standard operating procedure on the internet for 20 years.
Also, I can moderate is anything needs to be done, but this site is generally pretty hands off.
If you lose your pw, you can’t log in hence the problem.
There is no pw recovery option and no way to contact a moderator for help if you are not logged in.
If you forget your pw, you cannot log in, hence the problem.
And there is no pw recovery option at all that I could find.
I did find a contact moderator email, (Dallas’ old roadrunner texas email? ) but it bounces if you send an email.
So, don’t forget your pw.
Print this out, tape it to a wall near your computer, and circle the one you like in big red crayon.
PS From 2017… but if I were to wager, the list is exactly the same today.

Under the password field is the text:
“I forgot my password”
Click on that and you get a password reset email. Same as every website on the internet.
