But - if Trump were to want to clear up the election fraud he has 2 options at this stage.
Now - I think he’ll just do an info declass drop and get some people in the cords hairs of the DOJ… then go into the night… but here are those 2 options.
Insurrection Act. He can invoke this act and would be granted the ability to use the military to achieve certain objectives. He could make arrests, seize voting machines, and hold tribunals.
Downside… this act is federal statute and has some requirements. One requirement is that he would have to make a public proclamation that the individuals causing the insurrection disband or at minimum would have to inform the public of his plans…
It could be challenged in federal court and the SCOTUS can overrule him.
Congress can also restrict Trump by immediately drafting a resolution to revoke his authority…
Suspend the Constitution - use the suspension clause of the constitution.
If he does this, he effectively becomes the law… a dictator… a king. He would have temporary powers that no legislature or court could challenge because it’s the constitution that grants them that authority.
The president could make arrests without cause, hold tribunals, and basically do whatever he wanted to do to ensure the safety of American citizens and to protect our constitution. And instructions.
Downside… they’ll murder him in the press. And upon reinstitution of the constitution m, there’s a chance he’ll be impeached (depends on what legislators he would indict or how many seats he would prove should have went to republicans).
If I’m Trump and I’m intent of righting the wrong… I go with option 2.
Will he have the balls to do it? Probably not. But man we’re going to find out in the next 8 days.
If he chooses dictatorial powers, he can shut down the press. At this juncture, I don’t think he has the support to carry out such a bold strategy. Trump has lost. Democrats carried out a successful coup by dint of fraud. Trump should exit when his term runs out. Before exiting, he should declassify as much information as possible to enlighten the public of the misdeeds of those who used pernicious means to defame him and his presidency. Ours is an ungrateful nation, for Trump was a GREAT president whose achievements were phenomenal in just one term in office.
Trump’s stature in the private sector is second to none. His brand needs to be spread to the media sector; he should establish a network and enter the field of internet commerce in a host of different ways. With his name, Trump can compete with Amazon, Ebay, Google, and all others because he brings with him tens of millions of patriots whose love he has no doubt won over.
At the same time, he should be in the forefront of efforts to establish election integrity, and he should pursue the truth behind the massive voter fraud we witnessed in these past elections. There should be numerous lawsuits filed in state and federal courts allowing conservatives to explicate their cases, adduce proper evidence, and prove through preponderance of evidence that indeed the greatest fraud in U.S. political history was perpetrated against the American people, and he was wrongfully denied a second term in office. Without a shred of doubt, I believe Donald Trump won the election by a landslide vote.
Trump is the Republican Party. Trump stewarded in the rebirth of Americanism, patriotism, and refused to accede to the misguided liberal beliefs that America has been an imperialistic nation concerned only in feathering its own nest, taking unfair advantage of less fortunate nations. Such is simply not the case. No other nation in this history of mankind has elevated its multi-racial constituency to the level of America. Through capitalism, America has brought democratic ideas, education, and commerce that has also improved the lives of other peoples throughout the world. It is no wonder humanity yearns to come to America to enjoy its freedoms and opportunity. This was what Trump advocated, and we saw the rebirth of American heroism rather than wallowing in shame as liberals would have us do…

I see alot of people online talking about the Insurrection Act being “signed.” Immediately one should recognize that this is bullshit because you don’t “sign” a federal statute… you “invoke” it.
Second, I wanted to explore the better option in the extremely rare chance that Trump is angling for some kind of last minute pounce. He would need to explore an option that would give him complete control… And the Suspension clause would offer that.

First, Trump isn’t signing an insurrection anything. He’s being threatened by his cabinet to act like a grown up or be removed by the 25th Amendment, hence his little ditty about go home and be peaceful, which he’s been in a tantrum about since they forced him to do it. Kevin McCarthy is literally threatening him on a daily basis to not “act up.” Objectively, that’s crazy to have to tell a grown ass man who’s President to stop being a 4 yr old.
Secondly, there is literally 0 chance Trump gets a 2nd term. We had an election. He lost. The only people caught committing election fraud are 3 Republicans who voted for Trump. “Thems the facts.”
So, what’s he “angling for”? You’re right…the only chance he has is an overthrow of the government along with a significant portion of the electorate willing to take up arms to defend his coup. Again, this is a request for a coup and not a revolution. A revolution is about ideas. A coup is about a person. This is about a person.

The “suspension clause” you refer to would require the full military to back his coup attempt, and also the willingness of the majority of the electorate to allow for the suspension of habeus corpus simply because a con-man doesn’t want to give up his grift, neither of which is a possibility.
The fact that you are engaging enthusiastically in the suspension of such a fundamental aspect of American law and our Constitution because you lost and just don’t like it reveals all one needs to know about Trump and his supporters, their lack of loyalty to our country, our Constitution, and the foundations by which we were created and thrived.
