I always heard

I don’t totally disagree. But it is just getting sent back to the states. It’s not going to be outlawed everywhere.

The US allows abortion far longer than most countries in the world. We are on par with countries like China and North Korea right now. Most European countries outlaw abortion after the first trimester or 15 weeks, something in that range.

Don’t let the big bad media narrative fool you.

It can be a motivating factor for the left, but the economy is far more important when it comes to people going to the polls.

Wrong.

and not stopping there

It’s a motivating factor for most, not exclusive to the left. Again 70% disagree with you.

Let’s take a look at those

3.6 % unemployment
projected 3.4% annual GDP growth this year
jobs?

We have record inflation, caused by the pandemic. They’re fighting to address it as they should.

Or, we could side with you…

Right I understand

But it’s not like people can just up and move.

I was not aware of this. My personal choice would be ehhh right around the 15 week thing, would make sense. But it’s not my body.

Recession is likely. Even Biden advisors have said as much. Get with the program.

Abortion has not and will not ever be the number 1 motivating factor in an election. The economy is at the top.

Agreed. He’s right. Most are around 15 weeks and then you have to have a valid reason afterwards, like the health of the mother. I can live with that. I’m with you, though. It’s not my body

Really? I’m sure you have a link. I’ll wait.

We have no data to back that up. There has never been a real threat to Roe V Wade before. Midterms usually go to the minority party. Just happens that way. Also, it’s more beneficial (from a strategy standpoint) if the GOP won in the midterms. Republicans are exceptionally good at fucking things up. They are not a party of governance any longer.

As for a recession - lots of talk about it. Balancing the raising of interest rates to slow the economy is a delicate thing if you’re trying to avoid a recession. Historically, we haven’t had a recession beginning under a Democratic President since Carter - 1980. Before that, you have to go back to Truman.

The claim: ‘Every GOP administration since Reagan has overseen a recession while every Democratic administration since then has overseen a strong recovery and economic boom.’

Real GDP growth, a measure of economic activity in the U.S., averaged 3.33% during the 64 years and 16 presidential terms going back to the mid-1940s, according to a 2013 research paper by professors of economics Alan Blinder and Mark Watson at Princeton University. With a Republican in the White House, though, the economy’s growth slowed to 2.54%, the economists found. With a Democrat in office, growth jumped to 4.35% on average.

A variety of other economic indicators, such as per capita GDP, stock market returns, real wages and the change in the unemployment rate, are also more robust with a Democratic president, the economists found. Unemployment fell by 0.8 percentage points with a Democratic president on average, while it rose 1.1 percentage points with a Republican, according to Blinder and Watson.

“The U.S. economy has performed better when the president of the United States is a Democrat rather than a Republican, almost regardless of how one measures performance,” according to the report titled “Presidents and the Economy: A Forensic Investigation.”

To put it bluntly - it would be only the third time in the last 120 years a recession began under a Democrat. Could it happen? For sure. Likely? Well, 120 years is a LONG time.

Lmfao at this horseshit

Glad you are entertained with facts.

The facts are Republicans can’t manage the economy. We have a century of proof.
