With 3 games left in the regular season, the 'Canes are hovering just above .500 at 15-13. They are 12th place in the ACC, with a 6-11 record in conference and are currently on a 6 game losing streak. At this stage, aside from some miracle performance in the ACC tournament to win it, I think it’s safe to say that Miami is out of the NCAA tournament, and might be fortunate to get an invite to the NIT.
Has any other team that made it to the Final Four the previous year ever had such a disastrous follow-up season?
