I get being offended by the Heisman snubs. I get that Ward is a great QB and we would be nowhere without him.
But let’s be honest. I’m not sure I’ve seen anything Heisman worthy out of him the last 2-4 games.
Yes, our Defense is so bad it’s funny, but our Offense has struggled with consistency and penalties the 2nd half of this season. 3 TDs in the first 20 minutes of this game, and only 2 in the next 40.
Our D was getting torched out there, but our offense was burning too.
The man scored 38 points… with a semi-competent D, a team that scores 38 points wins like 99.9% of the time.
Ehhh…I don’t know. I thought he was really damn good today. He was spinning it.
Game was lost by defense…But imo they are what they are at this point and were playing a really good offense. More so lost by X’s fumble returned for a TD, George’s continued selfishness, and Dawson ignoring Damien Martinez when he singlehandedly wins us this game (I honestly don’t think I’m exaggerating here).
A ridiculous, game-changing hold and an idiotic decision to kick a FG didn’t help matters either.
Stat wise, I would think Cam would be a finalist but he ain’t going to win it.
If Miami hadn’t blown two of its last three games to middling teams, he would have a much better shot. If Miami had gone undefeated, he might have won it.
Cam is a finalist for the Walter Camp Award, which is a player of the year thing.
He’ll get drafted around Round 3 or 4? He might make a roster but I don’t see him making it in the NFL. We’ll see.
