Hahahaha

FSU was a 10 point favorite.

The game was played in Dublin.

GaTech has made some good hires. They are going to be formidable going forward.

It gets better.

Hopefully, FSU will drop a few more games this season including to Miami and Norvell will be fired or be so wounded that recruiting becomes difficult.

The Veer offense is not dead. Lineman lined up close on the line of scrimmage play true smash mouth football, and the biggest element ensuring success in option football is elusive ball handling. When your suckered on an inside dive, a ball carrier will beat the defense around the ends. The Ga Tech QB was a hoss. Your right, Stork, Tech is an admirably coached team.

So is FSU. They just badly miscalculated on their NIL QB. The guy failed at Clemson. He’s never played up to his five star rating. He wilts under the heat of onrushing defenders. Norvell himself was a QB, and my sense is that he makes successful adjustments. Norvell always has a potent offense.

Evidently, FSU is in for a rough year. Really sorry to see this.

If Miami wins 9+ games and Florida and FSU have bad years, Miami should clean up
in Florida recruiting with the Class of 2025.

That video is amazing. Did that really happen in the Olympics?

Believe it or not, the IOC made break dancing an event. What a joke the Olympics has become.
My understanding is that break dancing will no longer be an event going forward and will be replaced by Synchronized Transgender Woman Beating.

When you watched how BU manhandled the Seminoles in the trenches on both sides of the ball, you’ll appreciate Mario.

I never liked the FSU NIL QB. How well we know what it’s like when you get inconsistent play at QB.

If my memory serves me correctly, Norvell was under consideration as a Saban replacement., Now, it appears he could be entering a Larry Coker-like fall from grace. The Seminoles are playing surprisingly poor football.

Uh…the same thing was said last week about GT. Are Georgia Tech and Boston College good teams suddenly who are well coached or does FSU just bite this year?

I don’t mind break dancing being in the Olympics when they have a bunch of other style events, but I didn’t get to watch. The clip you posted looks pretty amateur tho.

Both teams play a smash mouth brand of football and try to find a weakness in run defenses. They are hard to defend because their offenses are throwback strategy that has given way to spread formations now used by most other teams. If they can move the ball, they can dominate the clock and reduce their opponent’s time of possession. If they get out in front of you on the scoreboard, they’re hell to deal with. Consequently, they are capable of upsetting teams unprepared for their offenses.

One of their big advantages is that they’re less dependent on QB skill. Their QBs are usually oversized yet fleet of foot. Most of their passing plays are quick passes, bubble screens, flairs, and slants. On occasion, they’ll air it out long if the defense keeps crowding the line of scrimmage.

You’ll recall the old Air Force teams under DeBerry won a lot of games they shouldn’t have won. There are always on every team a few defensive players who haven’t the discipline to defend option football.

Both BC and Tech are far from pushovers this year. In their first games, they played with disciplined poise, few penalties, characteristic of early season play. Where they struggle is against more physical teams that put the quietus completely on their run game, forcing them to become passing teams dependent on superior QB play.

I think Michigan’s team last year marked a return of smash mouth football to the college game. If you have team that can rush the football, why the hell would you insist on passing it.

Break dancing isn’t a sport. Should the twist be an Olympic event, too?
