At the same time, it’s biggest exports are oil and iron.
Oil goes to Western Europe and iron to Ukraine.
Why would they bite the hand that feeds them?

Um, where does 100 thousand armed Russian troops fit into this ‘analysis’? Where does Russiaqn occupation of Crimea and Donbas fit?
The REAL analysis is that Ukraine’s pro-Russia government lost in 2014, so Russia started to make more overt unconventional warfare moves to keep their influence.

Zelensky didn’t say Biden lied. He just believes saying war is imminent is damaging to his economy and would like Biden to tone down that talk.
Both presidential administrations agree: Biden warned Zelensky that war is imminent. Zelensky knows it is a danger. Zelensky, btw, has previously criticized Biden for not warning Russia off an invasion strongly enough. Zelensky is doing his job, ie. looking out for his country.
