They already are. That started almost immediately when they got torched by TCU in Game 1.

I watched the Texas/Florida game, and what I noticed was the toughness of the Florida line on both sides of the ball. On offense, they were handling the Horns as if they were the Miami Hurricanes. They really knocked them off the ball. When we played them their defense did exert pressure on Beck. Against Texas, their defense throttled Manning, sacking him seven times. Seems as if poor Arch is being perceived as being “vastly overrated” by fans. He played a game that reminded of the Hurricane qbs of yore who so splendidly failed.
My impression is that Florida is really tough outfit, not as tough as the Canes, but they’re going to be competitive with all the SEC teams they play. Speaking of the sEC, next week we’ll be able to better gauge Alabama as they take on an unbeaten Missouri team. Alabama has had trouble rushing the football, but their young QB may be the best QB I’ve seen this year, save for Mateer. I thought it was great that young Ty Simpson sang the National Anthem before the game. I like this kid immensely.

Where Alabama might stumble is their run defense is awful… and Mizzou has a stout run game. Weakness on strength is never a good omen.
Simpson will keep them in the game but I will not be surprised if Mizzou beats Bama

Indiana’s victory has to help Miami’s positioning. I know it’s heresy but for the same reason wouldn’t mind seeing TAMU go down. Really wanted Ole Miss to take the W when somehow it became a game. Texas awoke from their slumber, or it’s the usual Oklahoma swoon.
Looking back at yesterday’s scores… How many one loss teams make it into the playoffs? Any two loss teams?
After this weekend I think this is a more legit question. Particularly factoring in the SEC and their position that a SEC team with two or maybe three losses is more deserving than some other asshole team with one loss. Playoff selection gonna be crazy.

If anyone watches film of Dawson’s all too predictable play calling, I doubt they will offer him a HC job.
