Lowest attendance last night since 2012. Manny has 2 wins out of his last 7 games (28% win rate) in his third year (6th in the program). That’s game over if you know CFB. Even if Frank could care less you’d have to be an idiot on the BOT to not see what’s happening (and lord knows everyone around them is screaming).
Blake has to go and if you’re going to change the AD for a new coach hire you have to do it quite early because you have to do a search…make a hire…let them get their feet under them to then make a HC hire… That takes a lot of time IF ITS DONE RIGHT so you’d have to move on James soon.
Not saying they understand this, but lord knows between Football, Baseball, and Basketball, James has blown it bad (especially baseball and Football). Like corrupt government level bad.

Pretty good summation…sadly. Most exciting thing about UM football has mainly been the coaching searches/rumors. Both have always ended up disappointing.
Already been debunked. Fraud account.
First off, last night’s loss is largely on Baxa-Borregales. He has one job. He missed an easy chip shot that was like a game winning extra point. A lot of blame to go around but any decent kicker makes that kick easily. He choked, plain and simple. End of story.
Manny was always a risky hire. They should have let him go to Temple and paid for someone with HC experience who had actually won in a major division. No sure things but Manny was high risk from the get go. Besides, he’s a communist. 
So, if they fire him, who do they hire? Same with James. I’d have someone really good lined up before I executed everyone. And it doesn’t make much sense to fire mediocrity to hire more mediocrity. I think they will wait until after the season ends but I’m just guessing.
This season is already over. Miami will be lucky to win 6 games and 4 or 5 seems more likely.
Yes, borregales should’ve made. But when given a chance, you never put in on the kicker. We were dominating VA , what does Diaz do? Goes in a shell.

I think the decision to milk the clock was absolutely the right thing to do. If he makes that chip shot field goal the narrative is how Virginia made huge mistakes in managing the clock.
The new wave of coaches would have tried to let Miami score with about 1:30 left to get the ball back.
I agree that we still could have tried to gain some yards and not dive right into the line for no gain or a loss. They could have done better there.
But I like our chances with a 33 yard field goal better than relying on our D with over a minute left. Look what happened when they tried to score before the half in the uptempo. It was easy.
Well, the rumors are that Manny will be fired by Monday and Simpson will be made interim HC.
I have my doubts as no reports of Gruden being sighted in Miami.

Yup. With past hires there was wiggle room and excuses (rebuild, sanctions, Covid)…those excuses are laid bare now though. There is no excuse at this point. It’s undeniable he’s not the guy.
diaz is definitely getting fired this year as i see no way this team can perform any better under his tutelage. the man simply does not know how to build a winning squad.
looking at our schedule i’d be shocked if he’s still on the sideline when we play VT in late november.
Milking the clock is fine. Giving up on the TD early was the problem.
