Fsu v. ND

Fsu showing a lot of improvement from last year. Not going to be the push overs they were last year.
Their o line is still not good, but the defense looks much improved.

They can score. That’s going to be an issue!

ND isn’t nearly the team they were last year. No OLine.

This game is way more entertaining than what I watched yesterday.

That #14 safety for ND is impressive. A couple really nice throws by the ND qb when he has time.

They are having their way with FSU now. This game is over.

Turnovers are a killer. Travis isn’t a great passer but a very good athlete. Miami will need to turn him into a passer for sure. When he gets outside of the pocket he can be a problem.

Their offensive line is offensive.

I stand corrected. The game is not over

Milton looks good. Can’t believe they’ve come back this far.

Great game. FSU looked much improved. ND looked overrated again.

FSU looked to me like a very undisciplined team on offense. They have a couple of very good RBs, their QB is fast and is a dangerous rusher. As a passer, he is unimpressive though his offensive line offered him little protection. Time and again, FSU RBs broke away for long runs. McKenzie Milton was inserted in the fourth quarter as QB and played well and rather miraculously brought the Noles back to tie the game sending it into overtime. The FSU offensive line is still a problem this year, and there appears to be a QB problem. McKenzie is playing on knee that was injured severely, requiring a great deal of surgical skill even to having him walk again much less play football. It was sort scary watching him out there bravely competing; I found myself worrying that he’d reinjure himself. The kid must really love football. He did handle the team more confidently than Travis. He made me a McKenzie Milton fan.

Notre Dame is not appreciably better than FSU. I thought Norvell called a rather peculiar game. FSU definitely has some playmakers, especially the two RBs, and they have some good receivers as well. They definitely don’t play with poise and IMO do not look well-coached.

FSU can score, and last year defeated North Carolina which destroyed UM. If they get things clicking their way, they’re capable of putting up a lot of points. Their defense is improved over last year. Their pass rush at times was effective though the Notre Dame QB completed a high percentage of his passes. All in all, I predict FSU will win half their game this year and are capable of upsetting ranked teams.
