FSU v Louisville

Man that must have been painful for their fan base. Maybe I’m getting old but not taking the 3 pts and going up 17 seemed foolish to me. Silent crowd. All the momentum. Offense moving the ball with confidence. Defense more than holding its own.

miss the 4th down, next play (I think) 95 yard TD run. Something like 28 more unanswered from that point.

Granted he went for it twice (?) on 4th down already but idk, I don’t love it. It seems 2 pt tries and 4th down attempts are way more prevalent in today’s game, but I can’t help but wonder what that game looks like w FSU kicking off up 17-0. Who knows.

I thought FSU looked decent if not gaining much confidence leading up to that play. It all fell apart. I wonder what team comes out of the tunnel next week…?

Brutal

Most teams in the state of Fl used to be built from the trenches out i.e: the way Mario is doing it now. First get yourself a great OL and a good to great DL. Add top skill players where/when you can …..yeah…..but keep emphasis on building the lines. FSU used to have that but now……

They are not wearing down anyone of late. IMHO pass-protection and even run-blocking seems very hit-or-miss.

Sort of adjacent, Florida flipped five star WR Easton Royal from Texas. Not sure about the Gators’ lines but you have to start somewhere…
