NFL experience as player and coach (Seahawks) and most recently at Colorado with Deion where he made very nice strides in 1 year.
A good hire, imo…Maybe opens up some Texas recruiting for us as well.

Well remember he had no coaching experience at all before this. Also, Sapp seems to be a natural asshole.

Just be happy for the guy. Truth is there was never truly any bad blood between the 'Canes and the 'Noles. A red-hot rivalry and a fight for bragging rights…yes,but never any real hatred. Sapp seems to have found his place on the sidelines …and it’s good PR for Tally and Miami alike.
In the last couple of decades one or two idiot coaches went to Tally and tried to create enmity between the teams but long time fans of both teams know better
