And has ran his defense into the shithouse… You keep slipping/sliding, ducking/dodging all the defensive holes on the roster? The defensive slide the last 3-4 years? See a fucking patter? Crickets?
Where has he “improved the team”? Because he recruited a couple of individual players you happen to like? Good job on the QB for sure…Enos/Lashlee then Diaz get a good bit of that credit but sure, I’m cool with giving Diaz some props.
I’m not sure he needs to…His offense will recruit itself and I’d take his mostly 3* offense any day of the week…His offense is elite this year with only a couple of big-time recruits.
As for defense…Hire the right DC…And you can make an all star team on state of Florida and especially 3* Tri-County players that we thought we were too good to offer. The NFL draft is full of them every year. And right now we have a staff “built for recruiting” especially Sofla recruiting…And have mostly an air ball to show for it the class of 2022. Anyone could be doing better for the current class.
Elite doesn’t happen overnight, I just want improvement…I understand what you are saying. I just think with right hires he will recruit better than you think because of both more 4-5* and then better backup plans.
I have slight recruiting concerns with him…But that’s what assistants are for.
I prefer him to Cristobal, but can understand your point and think Cristobal has learned a lot and is doing very well. But for instance…There are 4, possibly 5 monster WR in Sofla next year…I think there is absolutely no reason to believe that 1-2 won’t come to play for Kiffen next year. You don’t think Amari Cooper can vouch to Dade kids for Lane Kiffin? Also it’s worth noting that he did bring in the #17 class in the nation last year. Although I see he is lagging this year, so it will be interesting to see how they finish, I’m sure the 10-2 he just threw up will help him finish strong.
It makes me sick they are the only 2 names being mentioned though. So many options better than Diaz.
I love Deboer for Fresno State for instance. We should be obviously inquiring on Matt Campbell, etc…
And they weren’t terrible against Auburn either…I know bc I bet Auburn off the bye, while Ole Miss was at it’s worst injury point of the season. (No Mingo, No Sanders, 2-3 starting OL out, starting TE out, Corral playing hurt)

Our best corner (who I do like even if he’d make a better safety) is only here because he couldn’t start at GA, not to mention couldn’t stay out of trouble…Blades was ok. I don’t mind some of the corners we have as #3 CB types and contributors, but again we should have multiple Stevensons or even someone better by now…But there’s no way we should have been sitting thru multiple years of this shit.
Where are the DE and LB commits this year? I believe at one point they did have UM in front…No matter what you say this season hurt our causes with them and it doesn’t look like we have backup plans…The portal isn’t as easy as it used to be, and you can’t depend on it for everything.
