Had the Gametracker thing on in my browser to check the score occasionally. GEEZ!!!
Glad I didn’t watch that thing live. What an ordeal. 5th nail biter in a row!!!
Hard to be excited about edging lowly GT at home.
Meanwhile NC beat Wake in an epic defensive struggle. Like Cincy, Wake has had a very easy schedule so I was glad to see them lose.
And I have to believe Fuente will be might right after his buyout goes down on 12/16? And most of us wanted him at Miami. Same with Frost. You just never know with coaches.
So, GT intercepted a two point conversion pass and ran it all the way back for 2 points? I have watched a thousand football games and have NEVER seen that happen before. The stupid Gametracker initially said Miami converted and was up 35-28 and then it suddenly changed to 33-30. WTF???
Really? I mean they are obviously not common but a few of them happen in cfb a year.
I could not get a stream of the game gonna watch tonite. We were obviously the better team as mid 4th we were up by 200 yards while running a couple less plays. Seems like 3rd and 4th and 1s continue to be our downfall.
The Canes were clearly the better team. I don’t understand the anger other than the 4th down and 1 stops.
Turnovers are mostly random and I don’t blame the coaches for that. Take away the fumble touchdown and it’s a different game. Miami is easily 14 points better than GT, but a win is a win and I’ll take it.
The D can’t be giving up those monster plays though.
Watched the highlights, such as they were, on Youtube. What a sloppy game Miami played. An epic failure to protect the ball nearly cost them the game. Luckily, GT just plain sucks.
If Miami plays that badly against FSU, they are going to lose.
If miami plays practically any team with these mistakes - they lose 9 times out of ten. It’s obvious, but you can’t expect to win when you give it away 3 times and can’t get any push up the middle.
Thank god we have a QB that can has been throwing dimes lately.
